Gas Spring，It is an elastic element that uses inert gas as an elastic medium, is sealed and lubricated with oil and transmits pressure, and is referred to as a gas spring. It is actually a variant of the sleeve type air spring, and it also appeared to further improve the elastic characteristics of the sleeve type air spring, so it also has the characteristics of the air spring structure. Gas springs are generally composed of cylinders, piston rods, seals and external connectors. High-pressure nitrogen or inert gas and oil form a self-circuit in the cylinder. The damping of the piston part makes the rod cavity and the rodless cavity communicate, so that the pressure of the two cavities is equal. The elastic force is generated by using the difference in the force area of the two cavities and the compressibility of the gas.
The gas spring has the advantages of light structure, large working stroke, stable movement, and can play a damping and buffering role; it has a stable and nearly unchanged characteristic line; it is easy to operate, safe and reliable. But the processing cost is higher.
